You will be working for a professional company in York. This Management Accountant job has been created to support the Finance Department for 3 months.
Your new role
Your new role will be largely varied and will report to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for preparing and posting journals (accruals and prepayments), monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and dealing with discrepancies, reconciling payroll control accounts and monitoring income receipts. You will prepare the monthly Management Accounts, prepare budget-holder accounts, distribute financial reports and undertake statistical returns.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need to be at least AAT qualified or above and have experience within a similar role. Ideally you will have public sector experience.
