Solutions Recruitment are looking for an Accountant to assist the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant in managing a small Finance team to provide a range of financial services, advice and guidance to the organisation. The role is initially an interim role for 2 months with the possibility of extension. Candidates must be CCAB Qualified (preferably CIPFA) or AAT qualified.
Essential requirements for the role will be:
Flexible approach to role with the ability to meet travel requirements of the post.
Experience of final accounts, budget preparation and monitoring, including accounting financial arrangements and planning cycles.
Knowledge and ability to interpret financial legislation.
Understanding and ability to apply accounting principles and concepts.
Experience of grant claims, statistical and financial returns.
Ability to work within a busy team and to strict deadlines.
Excellent communication/listening skills and the ability to make decisions and take action in line with support plans, policies and procedures.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
