We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated midwife, preferably with post-registration experience, to join our midwifery team. There will be an opportunity to provide care in all areas relating to midwifery practice. Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well with a multi-disciplinary team.
Applications will also be considered from newly qualified midwives at Band 5 to allow progression to Band 6 within 12-24 months in line with Annex 21 of the terms and conditions of employment.
Continuous professional development is actively encouraged and supported through in-house programmes and Institutes of Higher Education. Applicants must be car owners and in possession of a full UK driving licence.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
