This position would suit a candidate that already has the confidence in handling insurance risks within the SME Schemes arena and across all industries.
Key Accountability's include:
Place and renew and develop new business. Actively participate in the acquisition of new clients. Work closely with allocated direct clients and/or Manager to ensure that all client instructions and requirements are handled promptly and accurately. Operate in accordance with FCA and company Broking Procedures. Review and provide technical advice and opinion on clients’ and prospects’ insurance programmes.
Put together client/prospect risk presentations to forward to insurers and to negotiate insurance premiums and cover with insurers in line with clients’ requirements. Claims referrals (first advice) to Claims department and subsequent liaison with Claims Handlers to provide excellent customer service and maintain updated records.
What will I need?
Cert CII or above - preferred but not essential
Good presentation, & communication skills
Strong organisational skills - ensuring company processes and procedures are followed
A good understanding of commercial insurance products
Proved account handling expertise
Experience of quality risk submissions achieving best terms for clients with insurance mark
