Insurance Sales Adviser - Immediate Start

12 month Temp contract (can be based remotely, UK wide) and permanent positions available

The Company

We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Sales Adviser to join a leading insurance company in Aylesbury (HP19).

Our client is in a period of significant growth and as a result of internal promotion they are looking to recruit full time Insurance Sales Advisers to join their award winning sales team.

As an Insurance Sales Adviser you'll be contacting warm leads and undertake a consultative approach to sales. NO COLD CALLING.

Key responsibilities of an Insurance Sales Adviser:

  • Provide an on-line quotation service and advice to inbound callers

  • Follow up on requests for quotations

  • Provide best practice at all times

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and continuous professional development

  • Consultative sales - identify customers’ needs, highlighting product features and benefits of policies.

  • Maximisation of all sales opportunities - regularly achieving targets

Your key skills as an Insurance Sales Adviser will also include:

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

  • Previous telephone based sales experience

  • Strong Maths and English ability

  • A proven track record in achieving sales targets

  • A flexible team player who can demonstrate a can-do attitude and the ability to use initiative

  • A responsible and commercially minded individual who is confident, keen to be proactive and is service minded

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Upon completion of training (and depending on performance) you will be given the option of working from home 2 days a week.

Hours of working: 36 hours per week - Rotational shift pattern that covers the hours of 9am - 6pm: Monday 9am - 6pm, Tuesday - Friday shifts of either 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm and 9am - 1pm on Saturdays, working 1 in 4 Saturdays.
