Insurance Manager

£35,000 - 6 months FTC

Sopra Steria are working with a well-established public sector body.

The role will ensure that this body is sufficiently insured and will manage insurance claims. The scope of the role covers the whole establishment, including subsidiaries and associated organisations.

What the role involves:

  • Ensure insurance arrangements are optimally established and up to date.

  • Lead the relationship management with insurance brokers.

  • Ensure all insurance policy is up to date and relevant for the subsidiary/affiliate needs.

  • Develop risk based approach appropriate for the nature of the institution, appetite of the Board and with rules of regulatory bodies.

What you will need:

  • Relationship management experience and a good track record of insurance responsibility.

  • Insurance qualification.

  • Ability to manage external broker relationships.

  • Ability to successfully run claims processes.

  • Change and development management experience.

  • Be up to date with market trends and new insurance vehicles.

  • The ability to work within statutory and regulatory frameworks.
