Insurance Development Consultant
9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Product Management - Assess product changes/enhancements and identify implications for the business in terms of processing and communication.
Projects & Implementation - Identify tasks needed to achieve a given goal and create project plans.
Preparation of systems specifications, in conjunction with IT.
Manage projects through from initial specification to post implementation review.
Preparation and execution of test plans. Preparation of Business Requirements and Scope documents.
New opportunities - Regular review of insurance products across the market place, in order to identify gaps in our product range.
Review additional product opportunities consistent with our customers’ needs, in order to create proposals for new or enhanced product offerings.
Support Sales Performance Improvements- Work closely with Training, Compliance and sales managers to implement improvements. Identify systems enhancements available from suppliers.
Communications - Prepare communications to sales teams and trainers to communicate changes of procedure, product terms or product enhancements in a positive and easy to understand manner.
Documentation - Produce user manuals, standard letters or similar materials.
Systems Testing - UAT testing as well as regression testing on any MS and Insurance related changes to systems
Insurer Liaison - Deputise for the Insurance Development Manager in handling queries from panel insurance providers.
Analysis of MI - Undertake analysis of both internal and supplier MI to identify: business trends, training needs and sales opportunities, trends in expenses and claims volumes,
Sales support - Resolve issues identified by the sales team.
