This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing specialist insurance providers. Claims settlement is one of the most important services that an insurance company can provide to its customers. This has a huge bearing on whether the customer chooses to renew their policy or move their business elsewhere. The company is looking for someone keen to develop as a Claims Handler. The role will be varied including:

  • Timely and accurate assessment and processing of claims
  • Accurately recording and monitoring claims
  • Identifying claims that may require further assessment
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all paperwork
  • Working within FCA and company guidelines and SLA’s.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Computer literacy and experience of Microsoft Packages;
  • Experience of working to deadlines;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Demonstrable team skills and be flexible and reliable
  • Confidence in dealing with customers and third parties
  • A problem solving approach

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous insurance experience would be an advantage
  • Multilingual would be advantageous, especially if able to speak German
  • Experienced working within a highly regulated environment
  • CII qualified or working towards is desirable
