Insurance Claims Handler, Kent

Barker Munro, the insurance recruitment specialists, is pleased to be working with this entrepreneurial insurance company who specialise in claims management and who are currently looking to expand their claims function with the addition of insurance claims handlers.

As an insurance claims handler, you will handle 1st notification of loss calls from policyholders and the network of tradesmen in your given line of insurance to successfully conclude the claim. Most claims will be based around Household/domestic claims. You will liaise with surveyors and adjusters as well as the policyholder in order to manage the claims process and reach effective settlement of the claim.

A knowledge and background in handling any type of insurance claim would be beneficial, but essential to have some kind of Call Centre experience and customer service focus. You will be a fast worker, well organised, good with IT and have a desire to learn new areas of claims.
