We are working with an established insurance broker based in Leicestershire. They are looking to recruit an Insurance Customer Service and Sales Associate to work across their SME business. You will be responsible for completing contacting lapsed clients, new product launches, new clients through associations and live chat with regards to online business queries.

The role will be working cross-team, working alongside other staff responsible for their SME/speciality businesses, contributing towards the overall growth of these departments, improving customer service and developing new business sales strategies.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic individual who is confident with excellent customer service and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer contact and follow up on customer sales and quotes.
Positively manage inbound and outbound calls keeping to agreed service levels and ensuring customer expectations are achieved.
Complete customer quotes and proceed with online application for their insurance cover capturing all sensitive customer information.
Listen to and acknowledge customer requests ensuring factual information is presented to allow the customer to make informed decisions.
Produce a quote with all factual information.
Taking incoming calls which are queries from prospects and customers from the new online direct-sales sites and respond to these queries via live-chat (on computer and app), email, or phone.
Following up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues.
Running reports to analyse common complaints and problems.
Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the products made available to our customers and a well-developed ability to navigate the systems to quote and retain business, while securing positive customer outcomes. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all sales and retention processes, including all changes that arise from continuous improvement activities or business change, ensuring accurate information is given to all customers.

What are we looking for?

As an Insurance Customer Service and Sales Associate, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Previous commercial insurance experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Confident at delivering effective communication
Ability to work to targets
The ability to work both individually and as part of a team
