Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a INSURANCE ACCOUNT EXEC to join a niche insurance company this is a career advancing opportunity as you will have the opportunity to grow and develop with the company
The role and responsibilities:
The role is a cross over between the in the office account handler and also an out on the road position. This role will support both the team and the Cosmetics Insurance Manager with attending client meetings and providing presentations. The aim is for this person is to develop the relationships with our recognised training courses and to provide support, be a key contact and the educational support to these courses.
They will be required to be in the office the majority of the week with the aim of perhaps one visit a week (this may be more some weeks).
Office based work will be the same as the Account Handler role but will also incorporate the management of their visits and following up (40/60 split between new biz sales and account management/renewals)
Main job purpose: The job holder will be responsible for managing and developing the Cosmetic Account thereby contributing to the achievement of the Department's financial and service targets
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
º º To maintain and enhance existing Client relationships ensuring that the premium income contributes to the achievement of your own and the Departments financial targets.
º º To actively acquire new Client relationships contributing to the achievement of your own and the department's financial targets.
º º To actively cross sell the range of policies on offer within the Cosmetic Department ensuring that we are complying with the Demands and Needs of what every client requires.
º º To obtain leads for the household standard and high net worth policy offerings and pass these to the household department for follow up.
º º To actively develop and maintain professional relationships with Insurer partners, affiliates and other appropriate third parties.
º º To ensure that all administration and documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations.
º º To keep up to date with industry news and developments ensuring that your technical knowledge is kept current.
º º To assist with the preparation of events and exhibitions and attending these where required (these may be at weekends).
º º To be the first point of contact for the Recognised Training Courses that are existing and maintain these relationships whilst being the approval point for new courses.
º º To be the first point of contact for the commission payments for training courses, affiliates and associations
º º To provide presentations on industry related topics such as claims and complaint management, general business acumen and risk management to the training courses and conferences that take place throughout the year across the UK. (These may be at weekends).
º º Where required, to assist with the administration and processing within the team.
º º To ensure that all Company procedures are followed and any areas of concern are notified to the Aesthetic Insurance & Claims Manager.
º º To ensure that the company values are portrayed at all times both externally and internally.
º º To ensure the highest standard of customer service and relationship management.
º To ensure that all Company security procedures, as detailed in the Personal Information Security Policy, are followed and any areas of concern are notified to the your Department Manager
Additional Information
£20,000 - £25,000 pa
º Pension

º Commission - they will have the opportunity to earn 5% commission on our net earnings on any new business they convert.
º 40 per week 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Personal specification:
º º A minimum of 2 years' general insurance experience within a Broking or Insurer environment.
º º Experience in medical malpractice and/or professional indemnity insurance is desirable.
º º A sales focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is provided at all times
º º Progress toward Cert CII qualification is desirable.
º º An excellent level of written and spoken English and Mathematical skills with a minimum of A* - C GCSE pass (or equivalent)
º º Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others
º º To have good organisational skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast moving environment
º º Sound IT skills particularly with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new systems and procedures
º º The ability to meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload
º The ability to work within a team environment and to assist Team members where required
