Our client is an established and highly successful Insurance Broker in Glasgow. They have an impressive attrition rate with their staff and offer career progression and support qualification pursuit. They are currently looking to add motivated and willing staff to their Personal Items team dealing with High-Value item insurance.
This role has a mixed shift pattern with 3 days 9:30am-6:00pm and 2 days 10:30am-7:00pm. After 6 months within the business you will be offered a hybrid working pattern with 3 days at home and 2 in the office.
There are also clear parameters in place for you to incresae your basic salary.
You will work in a busy insurance team looking to assess and discuss the client’s insurance requirements with them. You will then look to secure them a competitive and comprehensive cover via liaising with underwriters and utilising the schemes available and present and secure your clients custom.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- The ideal candidate will have previous insurance experience of dealing with new and existing business clients. This is a very busy department and is 99% telephone based role. They must have good keyboard skills and excellent telephone manner and be able to prioritise and multi-task.
- You will need to have excellent customer service skills and telephone manner and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- There is a stipulation that you complete your Cert CII within 15 months (all training and exams are paid for by the company)
