We are currently recruiting for a well-known insurance broking firm who now have some exciting opportunities for two people to join them in their Forest Gate or Leyton offices as Insurance Sales Administrators.
The firm specialises in providing cross-class commercial (B2B) and personal lines (B2C) insurance solutions to a diverse range of industry sectors, and the current book of business is made up of class commercial such as EL, PL, PI Property as well as some Personal lines Motor and Household business.
They are ideally seeking someone with 1 years plus insurance experience, but would also consider someone with a small amount of work experience in another industry who is looking for a genuine career opportunity, as full training can be provided.
You will be responsible for providing quotes on new business, administering policy renewals and processing mid-term adjustments as appropriate. You will be the first port of call for customer contact and will advise on all lines of personal and commercial insurance.
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent abilities in numeracy and literacy, show a willingness to learn, have excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate competent IT skills and be able to show a strong working knowledge of both personal and commercial lines insurance. Those with Greek, Bengali or Turkish language skills are highly sought after, as this broker deals with a lot of clients from local communities of this origin.

Salary on offer is £16-18,500 depending on skills and experience as well as support towards achieving the Cert CII exam, the insurance industry standard qualification. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch and Saturdays 9am-12:30pm on a rota basis.
