Salary: £22,000-£28,000pa plus free car parking, 25 days paid leave in addition to statutory bank holidays

Hours: Monday to Friday 10.00 - 18.00

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Insurance Administrator to join our dynamic broking team. Our office in Milborne St Andrew is a converted barn conversion with free parking and due to growth we need an experienced insurance administrator to join the team. We deal with a range of Protection and General Insurers and pride ourselves on great service!

Do you have previous experience as an Insurance Administrator? Are you a confident and a professional communicator?

A background within the insurance /broking Industry is essential for this role

The Role:

To provide a professional: prompt and efficient insurance brokering services to clients and insurers.

Key duties:

To work to FCA regulations and regulatory bodies.

Chase renewal terms for Insurers, liaise with Insurers for quotes and check documentation

Key new and existing risks onto our client CRM system and Respond to client queries and keep the CRM system updated at all times

Deal with midterm adjustments and cancellations and to provide a professional prompt and efficient insurance broking service to clients and insurers

Providing administration support in all aspects of existing accounts with accurate entry of data uploaded to internal CRM systems

To upload and submit documents in agreed time frames and deal with general enquires through telephone, email or letter.

Following relevant procedures to ensure consistency and compliance

The Candidate

Previous experience in a similar role is essential

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Able to prioritise workload when working with high volumes

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Competent use of Microsoft office

Positive approach

Results oriented

Good communicator

Great planning and organisational skills

A good knowledge of written and spoken English and numeracy is required for this role.
