Insurance Account Executive, Kent
Barker Munro Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a practiced commercial insurance Executive to join a well-established broker, who can provide long term career development.
As an Insurance Account Executive, you will be responsible for the profitable handling and growth of existing and new client accounts. Ideally you will have a renewal book that you can access, but you will be given a number of accounts to service from day one. You will be supported by a team of accounts handlers to manage the portfolio of clients effectively and to ensure best practice is achieved to retain existing clients whilst pro-actively working to win new accounts and grow revenue.
Working within the corporate division of this established and forward thinking broker, you will manage and service a book of corporate commercial business made up of a variety of risks. A consultative approach to their needs is paramount whilst agreeing strategies for their business and cover needed.
All candidates to be considered, will be able to demonstrate a background and knowledge of commercial lines business, ideally from the Corporate space. Candidates that can exhibit strong negotiating and Influencing skills within this commercial insurance market will have a convincing case to be interviewed by the panel. Building strong relationships is key so we are seeking excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with previous Insurance business development/servicing experience.
This really is a great opportunity for a commercial front line person to take on a new role in a regional market, who may even have previously worked in the London Insurance market and is looking for that more personal touch in the local market.
