Instructional Designer required to start a contract role based in Milton Keynes!

This instructional Designer role will be responsible for the design and development of high quality, interactive learning interventions to meet client requirements, this could include the creation and authoring of:

*E-learning - to support a blended approach to learner journeys, encourage accessible / remote learning and learner engagement
*Assessment - design assessment strategies to ensure learning objectives are achieved
*Micro and Macro learning
*Face to face theory and practical learning and all associated courseware

Key Responsibilities:
*Design, develop and update course content and learning solutions.
*Work with Subject Matter Experts to produce high quality and effective training materials to enhance the learning experience for all learning styles.
*Create aims with measurable objectives that match the course content.
*Create accurate storyboards and communicate relevant and timely information to the stakeholders
*Revise and re-write existing course content
*Create performance and assessment tools.
*Review assessment documentation to ensure that it reflects current training objectives and update where necessary.
*Achieve set performance targets and KPIs.
*Comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the company Security Ops policy.
*Any other such tasks as may be allocated by the Project Manager.

Qualifications/Experience required:
*Formal Instructional design qualification or minimum 3 years' experience.
*Proven experience of producing effective training materials, (e.g. CBT, trainer guides & lesson plans)
*Proven experience in creating learning to support a range of learning styles utilising a range of modern learning methods and technologies
*Knowledge of course development methods (e.g. ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy).
*Experience with e-learning development and authoring tools (would be advantageous).
*Computer literate and proficient in use of MS Office applications.
*Working as part of the team engaged on various projects.
*Good communication skills
*Able to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
*Ability to manage own work load.
*Working in a complex and diverse training environment
