The Role
We are looking to employ a sales professional to join our Business Development Team on a full-time basis. This role will be an important contributor to the Institutional Sales channel.
We have a friendly and collegiate atmosphere and are looking to uncover talented people that display a high level of achievement yet remain team players.

This role will be reporting to the Head of Distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build new networks and use existing relationships across the UK and EMEA institutional clients
  • Assist in driving the brand recognition and business development efforts in the UK and EMEA Institutional clients
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the firm's products and strategies and be able to discuss these with clients and prospects effectively and confidently
  • Selling bonds; loans (high yield, event-driven, distressed and special situations credit), and similar assets
  • Liaising with the institutional sales teams UK/globally to promote sourced product
  • Developing relationships with EMEA institutional clients (banks, asset managers etc.); as well as lawyers and restructuring advisors.
Skills Required
  • Knowledge of the UK Institutional Market.
  • Knowledge about the Bond Market.
  • Good knowledge of products across the traditional and alternative space.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A candidate who is bilingual in a European language would also be desirable but not essential
