Installation Manager - Plumbing, Heating & Air Source Heat Pumps £40k + bonus

Location - North London to South Midlands Region
Industry - Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHP’s, Renewables, Unvented Hot Water Systems, Domestic Heating, Commercial Heating, Plumbing.
Projects - New intalls into new build domestic housing (national house builders and regional developers) and social housing retro-fits (local authorities and housing associations).

Candidate - plumbing and heating install engineer with plumbing qualifications and experience of installing air source heat pumps. Although not essential it will be of great interest if you have some basic electrical qualifications i.e. to not only plumb-in but wire-in ASHP’s or other heating systems so they are fully working.
This is a brand-new Installations Manager position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest renewable heating providers in the UK.
As the Installations Manager you will be working on new installations for residential housing heating projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes through local authorities and housing associations, including retrofit systems on existing dwellings.
The role combines some office team working, working from home and time on site overseeing installations, engaging with a variety of clients face to face, by phone and computer.

- £35k - £40k base salary (depending on experience) + bonus

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years hands on ASHP heating install experience, +10 years plumbing and heating domestic installation experience combined with up to date plumbing qualifications, either apprenticeship and or HNC/HND level qualifications and current industry regulation knowledge e.g. water regs.
Furthermore it would be of great interest if you have basic electrical qualifications so you have the ability to propose both plumbing and electrical wiring layouts on large projects requiring numerous air source heat pumps.
Please still apply if you have limited ASHP install experience but extensive domestic / commercial plumbing experience installing or swapping out other heating systems such as gas boilers, hot water cylinders, radiators, ground source heat pumps (GSHP’s), solar PV, battery storage and heat recovery units (HRU’s). Basic computer skills are required due to office time both at HQ and on large project client sites.
