A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused, driven Paralegal to join a Corporate Insolvency team at a strong Leeds City Centre law firm. You must have experience working as a Paralegal in a commercially focused practice area and have ambitions to develop your career within Corporate Insolvency work.
Our client is a highly regarded mid-tier practice, with a strong commercial focus. The role would suit someone with a strong aptitude for this area of law who is looking to develop and establish their career within a supportive working environment.
-You will work on a mixture of non-contentious and contentious Corporate and Insolvency work.
-The department has a strong reputation and you will work closely with four partners in a busy team.
-The role will be hands on and you will undertake a broad range of duties such as drafting administration appointment documentation, assisting in drafting various Court applications and instructions to counsel and legal research.
-You will also have the opportunity to assist in the disposal of company assets, dealing with property issues, creditor issues and retention of title issues.
-In order to be considered, you must have prior paralegal experience working in a commercially focused environment. You must also be able to demonstrate a keen interest in Insolvency work.
-You must have a strong academic background and be highly commercially aware.
-Joining a busy team, you must be able to prioritise your workload and organise your desk efficiently.
-The role is client focused and so you must be able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
