Do you enjoy selling and customer interaction and are looking for the opportunity to prove yourself?
Office Depot are now recruiting Inside Sales Representatives to join this new and expanding area of our business based at our Manchester site in Ashton-Under-Lyne, conveniently located on major tram and bus routes.
Our Inside Sales Representatives will be responsible for retaining and growing existing business customer accounts, using your ability to spot sales opportunities to help us to achieve our aim of being the sole supplier for our business customers. In return, we offer a competitive salary and uncapped bonus structure coupled with excellent benefits including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) from day 1, free car parking, subsidised on-site canteen, life assurance and annual prizes for top performers including holidays abroad with spending money for our “Champions Circle” winners.
We are one of the leading providers of business solutions in the UK; providing office supplies, managed print solutions (MPS), facilities management supplies, furniture and print solutions, so there’s always an exciting solution to discuss with your customers to help their business and develop your own account base.
Customer service experience is essential for this role, but it’s not enough to be successful as an Inside Sales Representative. You will need previous experience of actively selling to customers (whether these are business customers or the general public) and will be hungry to control your own earning potential through hitting targets and delivering results. The Inside Sales Representatives need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills too, as you’ll be speaking to and emailing customers to develop your accounts and recording your activity in our state of the art CRM system – Salesforce.com.
Our accredited in-house sales trainers deliver a structured training programme when you first join, so you’re ready to hit the ground running. In the long term, your manager will give you the support and development you need to hit your targets and be a success.
Our interview process
To make sure we’re right for each other we have a 3 stage assessment process. This includes a telephone interview with one of our managers so they can get to know you and find out more about your work history. The next stage is a telephone role play, so we can hear your sales skills from the customer perspective. The final stage is a face to face interview, giving you the opportunity to meet your manager in person and see the office where you could be working.
We are excited to grow our team, so applications will be handled quickly and our interview process will take no more than two weeks.
