Inside Sales Executive

So working to promote a communications platform it will be your responsibility to convert all inbound business enquiries whilst also focussing on outbound sales, it will be your job to proactively contact Small to Medium sized customers who are currently utilising a service and drive additional value from those customers through outbound sales activity. You will be provided with full training on the value that the products can give to your customers so you can then successfully convert those outbound conversations with customers into winning new business for the company.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Proactive, outbound, phone-based contact to existing customers and upsell/cross-selling solutions

  • Meeting and exceeding monthly sales key performance indicators such as number of daily customer contacts, number of converted customer conversations and number of closed sales

  • Exceeding productivity measures such as time spent talking to customers per day, revenue achieved per day etc.

  • Qualifying and understanding all opportunities effectively

  • Up-selling to recently won new customers to find additional opportunities

  • Have an understanding of the customer buying process

  • Value-based selling? by understanding the true value of the products and solutions

  • Overcoming objections

  • Working through the entire selling process including qualification, questioning, negotiating and closing deals

  • Maintaining up to date records on the company’s CRM system (

We are looking for you to have:

  • Proven track record of success in an inside sales role, specifically in a proactive sales role

  • High levels of resilience and determination to overcome objections

  • Very strong work ethic

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Ambition and a real passion for Sales

There is an opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week, the rest of your time will be spent in the Nottingham Office.

In return for your efforts and success, our client is offering a great salary, with on target bonus of £9,000, however that is uncapped. You will also receive 27 days holiday + your birthday off, health care, dental and many more benefits.
