Working with one of the leading provider of IT solutions, a provider that holds Microsoft Gold Partnerships, a provider that has been going for over 20 years and a provider that has there technology centre based in Poole, you’ll be working as part of a well-established Technical Helpdesk Team.
As an Infrastructure Support Technician, you’ll be supporting a wide range of infrastructure solutions with the majority of these being virtualisation, storage and desktop technologies.
Completing predominately 2nd line fixes, but also dabbling within 3rd line work, you will need experience in the majority of the following technologies:
• Microsoft Servers & Operating Systems
• Exchange Service (2010/2013/2016)
• VMware (VSphere/ESX Server)
• Citrix (XenApp/XenDesktop/NetScaler)
• SAN (EMC preferable)
• Firewalls (SonicWALL preferable)
• Back-up Solutions (Veeam/Storegrid/Vembu)
Alongside the above, you will need experience in TCP/IP, DNS, AD, GPO and a sound understanding of anti-virus products and technologies alongside experience of networking topologies such as routers, switches and wireless network points.
There are some desirable technologies which would put you at an advantage however, I will discuss these directly at the point of application.
Salary is £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience plus……a 10% bonus scheme.
Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
