Absolute IT Recruitment are working exclusively with a company within the motor industry on their Infrastructure Engineer vacancy. You will be working closely alongside their experienced IT team and will be supporting the internal users within the group. The successful Infrastructure Engineer will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and supporting complex environments.
The successful Infrastructure Engineer will have the following attributes:
- Experience working with virtualised servers and related tools (VMWare)
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012 and Microsoft Exchange
- Familiarity with Active Directory and ideally SQL server admin (not essential)
- Experience working with Cisco products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ideal Infrastructure Engineer will have prior experience supporting 150+ users within a previous role and will be capable of migrating systems to a hosted environment. As you will be working alongside software development teams, experience working with technical teams within a previous role is beneficial. You will be an integral part of our strategy to migrate on premise applications to the cloud and will be joining the team at an exciting time in relation to our ambitions for a modern IT environment.
