Infrastructure Engineer

Hatfield, Hertfordshire

We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join an expanding and innovative blue-chip company at their Head Office in Hatfield. The primary goal of the Infrastructure Engineer is to ensure the company's Windows Infrastructure is running smoothly, as well as being current and secure.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the existing infrastructure, investigating and implementing new technology, new services and fully managing existing platforms to agreed business service levels. The successful Infrastructure Engineer will work as part of a small expert team to ensure the provision of 24x7x365 support.

Skills and experience required for the Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Excellent scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, with ability to write complex scripts from scratch, is essential.
  • Experience in administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and domain security.
  • Experience of supporting large, 24x7 enterprise-grade infrastructure environments.
