We are actively looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to work at our head office in High Wycombe!


What will being an Infrastructure Engineer with us involve?

  • Provide subject matter expertise on multiple IT and Business driven projects, throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to completion.

  • Work as part of a team designing, supporting and managing the InHealth infrastructure in line with IT objectives, as prescribed by the Infrastructure manager.

  • Monitor the performance of the infrastructure and carry out tuning exercises as appropriate to ensure optimal performance.

  • Provide proactive support of infrastructure components in line with agreed service level agreements and team key performance indicators.

  • Act as Technical Resource on key strategic projects across the InHealth IT Project Portfolio, as directed by the project lead.

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

  • Proven ability within a best practice (ITIL) orientated environment

  • Strong knowledge with Windows Server (2003 upwards) and Active Directory

  • Proficient with VMware.

  • Confident within a LAN/WAN environment with the ability to support Cisco Routers / Switches, Firewalls.

  • Understanding with a range of protocols which includes TCP/IP, GPO, DHCP and DNS.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
