Our clients vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. The Information Security team works across the organisation to be an advocate for privacy and transparency, ensure information is secure and provide data protection advice to clients, staff and supporters.

They have an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Coordinator to join their well established team.

With their organisation wide GDPR plan they are seeking for a professional to effectively advise and support managers on Information Security and Data Protection across all of their work. This is not a new role and they are recruiting for this position on a permanent basis. You will also act as the Data Protection Officer and manage the Information Security Team.

The Information Security Coordinator is responsible for providing advice to their clients, supporters, staff and other data subjects. You will ensure their policies and written guidance remain clear and up to date with changing legislation. You will work with senior managers, technical specialists and advise the Executive team and board on their privacy, security and data protection issues and support to establish clarity and accountability in agreements with other organisations.

You will work to ensure the GDPR plans are well communicated, effectively implemented and support a culture of data protection throughout their activities. You will ensure our client holds itself to the highest working standards and is responsible with the trust placed in them by their clients, staff and supporters.

They are looking for someone with a confident knowledge of Data Protection Legislation and guidance who is committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will have great written and verbal communication skills, will be able to build strong working relationships and inspire others to embrace privacy and data protection in their work.
