We are increasing our team of information security specialists within
the IR&S Consult team and require individuals who are keen to progress
their IT career in the exciting world of Information Security. You will

As an Information Risk & Security Analyst within the Consult team,
you will be responsible for identifying appropriate information security
controls required to meet the assessed level of threats facing Prudential UK;
working across multiple business areas with internal and external stakeholders
from numerous business areas to ensure appropriate security is in place;
identify areas where current IR&S standards and controls could be improved
to maintain effectiveness and relevance; provide consultancy services on
information security issues; provide support to successfully resolve incidents
impacting information security and research and assess information security
vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
Key Skills and Knowledge:
of working in a business facing Information Security role
reasonable understanding of technology and how it works across
applications and infrastructure.
basic knowledge of infrastructure and/or application security
understanding of security technologies and how they are used in an
to translate technical issues into meaningful details for non-specialist
knowledge / awareness of information security / business continuity
management governance frameworks and best practice (e.g. ISO 27000 series,
ISO 22301, ISF SOGP, COBIT).
stakeholder management skills.
