Industrial Operative – Torness

Location: Torness

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Competitive salary + benefits package

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 07:45–16:15 | Friday: 07:45–13:15

Dalkia is seeking a dedicated Industrial Operative to join our team at Torness. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment, where no two days are the same.

What you’ll deliver:

  • Perform a variety of tasks typical in an industrial setting, including manual labour, industrial cleaning, equipment operation, confined space work, fire watch duties, sump pumping, and general site support (e.g. grass cutting and driving).
  • Assist skilled trade teams with operational support.
  • Follow all safety procedures and complete tasks efficiently under the guidance of a Supervisor or Team Leader.
  • Operate all equipment in line with company and manufacturer standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in an industrial or similar environment is preferred.
  • A proactive individual with a willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety practices.
