Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a qualified and experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician on behalf of our industrial client based in Cardiff. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability within a reputable company operating in a heavy industrial processing environment, ideally within a concrete or asphalt batching facility.

• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company policy.

• Conduct pre-start machine inspections in line with company procedures.

• Perform maintenance and repair work on 415v circuits, conveyor systems, and control panels.

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC and inverter systems.

• Work with pneumatic systems and emergency stop systems.

• Communicate effectively within the team to highlight issues and suggest improvements.

• Proactively identify and support continuous improvement initiatives within your area.

• Time-served Electrician with recognised electrical qualifications.

• Proven experience working with 415v circuits.

• Knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with conveyor drives and emergency stop systems.

• Some mechanical background desirable.

• Full UK driving licence essential.

• Flexibility to work unplanned overtime when required.

• Strong timekeeping and attendance record.
