Your new company
Our client is a large housing organisation based in Cumbria. They are looking for a Domestic Violence Advisor to be based in Ulverston due to growth within the current team.

Your new role
Your new role as a Domestic Violence Advisor will hold a caseload of people who are experiencing domestic abuse identified through the MARAC (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference criteria) process. You will be supporting people in managing risk and making effective plans for clients safety and support.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Domestic Violence Advisor you will need relevant experience within a similar role previously focusing on working within a support environment, experience of risk assessment and safety planning and being able to help survivors consider a range of options to improve their own safety.

What you'll get in return

  • £10.64 hourly rate of pay
  • An ongoing temporary contract till March 2018
  • Flexible working hours
