Job Description

 Independent Chair

 Stirling and Clackmannanshire Adult Support & Protection Committee

£250 per day plus travel expenses and subsistence at agreed rates

Appointment for 2 years,approximately 30 days per annum,

subject to annual review

The postholder will not be an employee of either Council

Both councils and the Health and Social Care partnership are committed to the protection of vulnerable children.  We are seeking to recruit an Independent Chair of our Adult Support & Protection Committee.

Reporting to the Stirling and Clackmannanshire Chief Officers Group you will provide Stirling and Clackmannanshire Adult Support & Protection Committee with effective strategic leadership and direction in carrying out its core business functions.

You will have extensive experience of leading partnership groups at a senior level and have a working knowledge of adult protection issues. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and influencing skills with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
