Rate: Dependent on experience
Length: 2 weeks initially to cover sickness - likely to be extended
Location: South Staffordshire

A social housing provider in Burton-Upon-Trent would like to secure an Income Officer on a temporary basis. This position is looking for candidates who are available to interview this week and start at short notice with previous experience in a similar role.

Day to day duties include:

· Collecting income from various revenue streams and tenure types to include rent and service charges

· Contacting tenants via the telephone and in writing to chase outstanding arrears and provide money management advice

· Preparing paperwork for court cases and representing the organisation at court for non-payment of arrears

· Working closely with outside agencies to assist tenants with financial management

· Updating and maintaining databases to assist with monitoring rent arrears

The successful candidate will have:

· Previous experience in a similar position

· A basic DBS or be willing to have one put in process
