Incident Response Operator

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Operator to work in Harlow.

As the first line of response to incidents, the responder is the face of the organisation, and their conduct/professionalism is to key to establishing/maintaining credibility to our customers.

Objectives:

Safely and efficiently resond to incidents on a 24 hour basis, ensuring suitable / desirable outcome fo all inerested parties

To constantly strive to develop their competencies and broaden their experiences, within all of the service fields offered by the company

Responsibilities:

To provide 24 hour response coverage, ensuring the response base is attended within 1 hour of the call out

To maintain a personal log during all incident responses

To fully comply with all legislitive requirements

To maintain communications with the duty manager / operations anager throughout incident responses

To undertake written risk assessmentsbefore any works are carried out during incident responses

To report all near misses, accidents and injuries to the operations manager

To undertake training as directed by the senior operator / operations manager

Personal Specifications

Compulsory

Ability to pass a recognised industry standard medical (Rail or Maritime Industry)

Full UK Driving License

Flexibility to work on a 24 hour rota basis

Live within 1 hour of the response base

Desirable

Previous Incident Response Experience

A formal Vocational Qualification within the rail, road or maritime industry (such as PTS, COSS, Offshore Survival, LGV, ADR)

Previous Emergnecy Service / Military Experience

Trauma and Accident response would be an advantage
