The Role will encompass a wide range of duties from developing the appropriate product and client base to creating proposal presentations, pitching / selling and managing the final operations on the ground. The role would best suit a person who is comfortable working on projects as a self-starter and who can display creativity in combination with initiative and a strong commercial grounding.

Duties will include

* Effective contracting and negotiating of required services
* Building and maintaining relationships with international agents, incentive houses and companies
* Designing and quoting proposals according to client requests
* Operating and coordinating groups and incentives from a variety of different countries with varying group sizes
* Effective financial management of confirmed events ensuring that payment deadlines are met as per Company/contract agreement
* Effective communication with colleagues, clients as well as suppliers nationally and internationally
* Event Management: accompanying the groups from arrival until their departure, supervising the set-up and organization of check-ins, gala dinners, conferences and any other special arrangements.
* Preparation of any event materials, signage, posters etc (in conjunction with the marketing team as necessary)
* Flexibility: adapting and re-inventing product standards according to industry demands


* Previous MICE Project management experience - ideally cross European destinations but strong UK product knowledge is essential
* Exceptional level of written English
* Strong ability to create business-winning proposals, and ability to follow up with effective face to face pitching
* A second European language would be an advantage
* Willing to travel frequently and at short notice, versatile and prepared to work irregular hours
* An 'all-rounder' who is creative, detail oriented, driven by exceeding goals and seamless on the ground delivery
* Highly computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Social Media)
