Inbound Customer Service Advisor - Full Time

£8.75 per hour - Moulton Park, Northampton

Our client, a large and successful Building Society are looking to recruit a number of agents to work on their Customer Service Team based in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and are looking to secure a long term role which will offer them development and a great rate of pay.

Overview of the role:

Speaking to customers who have payment arrears, to understand their financial circumstances and recommend effective repayment plans to make sure their finances stay on track whilst managing their expectations throughout. Unlike some call centres, we're not driven by scripts or standard calls.

You will respond to members personal circumstances with empathy in a confident, articulate and enthusiastic manner as well as ensuring efficient and accurate member records are maintained, enabling you to exceed both your own goals and our member's expectations.

Ideal candidate experience:

Customer Service Experience is essential - either from call centre, hospitality, retail etc

Experience of using Microsoft packages such as word and excel.Have strong PC skills as you'll need to move around our systems quickly and efficiently whilst speaking to our customers.

Ideal skills:

  • Computer Literate

  • Have excellent Verbal and Written communication.

  • Have confidence in taking ownership for each call.

  • Be able to make and explain decisions clearly.

  • Have a willingness to learn.

  • Have the ability to follow processes and policies.

  • Be able to manage you time effectively.

  • Able to work under pressure & to targets

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday between 8am-8pm - working 35 hours per week.

You will also need to work 1 Saturday per month with time back lieu.

Pay rate: £8.75 per hour
