In-house Recruitment Specialist - Nordic or German Speaking

We are looking for an In-house Recruitment Specialist to provide a high quality and proactive service to both internal and external customers, meeting both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing all aspects of recruitment and adding value in support of the Company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to the site leadership team on best practice in human resources recruiting and compliance with employment legislation, and internal security and audit procedures
  • Work closely with the recruitment specialists in the development of a performance driven culture, which encourages individual ownership of results and associate development
  • To ensure that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law and practices, and that these practices are implemented consistently
  • To manage the recruitment process, assisting with the recruitment of staff and management, ensuring our ability to attract, retain and develop talent and achieve forecasted business volumes
  • Manage and develop relationships with recruitment agencies to ensure the service is delivered to agreed service levels
  • To contribute fully to the business planning process and ensure Human Resources Strategy is aligned to business goals
  • To support the HR Manager in the effective management of Health and Safety issues at site
  • To be responsible for compliance with company security policy

Experience Target:

Ideally experience in a similar role however for the right individual full training and support will be given.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Fluent written and spoken Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or German language skills
  • Working with high volumes and within short timescales
  • Commercially astute
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Ability to lead and drive change initiatives, with good understanding of the principals of change management
  • Ability to be hands on but also able to work on strategic projects
  • Ability for problem solving, conflict resolution, motivation and negotiation
  • Assertive with a can do attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Candidates must have proven experience within a fast paced, highly energetic environment, and be able to make positive contributions towards business improvement and teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
