The UK research subsidiary of a global provider of technology solutions to the oil and gas industry are seeking to hire either a part or fully qualified patent attorney, based in the UK.

This is a full time, permanent role and see you working within a diverse and internationally focused business who are at the cutting edge of technology. Given the scope of this technology-led services company, your work will be mainly mechanical with elements of software, chemistry, and/or physics, depending on capability and interest.

You will be versed in EP patent prosecution procedures and drafting to PCT standards. The focus of this role will see you supporting a diverse international portfolio and may also extend to other IP activities as required by the business, including capture and harvesting, landscaping, freedom-to-operate analysis, etc.

This position reports directly to the IP head of department in the UK and you will also be working closely with the research centre team.
