An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legacy Officer to join the In-house legal team of an instantly recognisable charity, based in West Sussex. Applications are welcome from individuals with experience in wills, trusts and probate from either a legal or non-legal legacy background. The role requires that you will be comfortable liaising with external solicitors and other relevant external recipients, with salary c.£30,000.
This established charity prides itself on their success and is known for its innovative approaches to best practices. They are now looking for a likeminded individual to join their In-house legal team, who will reflect the companies' values and mission.
The ideal candidate can be from either a legal or non-legal legacy background and be confident on all aspect of wills, trusts and probates. You will be responsible for dealing with a variety of matters surrounding interpretation for wills, estate administration, law of probate and various other legal matters; while liaising with solicitors and external family members. You will be responsible for your own caseload therefore an organised individual with strong communication skills is essential.
