We have a fantastic opportunity for an In-Day Scheduler to join a busy and energetic Customer Delivery team based in Enterprise House in Lincoln.
The role is full time 37 hours and shifts are 13.30 - 21.30 Monday to Friday.
The team plan and schedule engineers to resolve customer issues with water mains and sewers. As an In-Day Scheduler you will assist in the delivery of a business critical service to ensure that both planned and reactive work for our water and water recycling operational sites is scheduled to meet business performance targets.
Using your previous experience in providing excellent customer services, you will have the ability to communicate on all levels. You will be good at building relationships as well as able to use your own initiative to make decisions and work as part of a team. Part of your role will be to prioritise and deploy high priority reactive work via the telephone to our field based engineers. You will take ownership of the schedule to ensure that all customer promises are met and pro-actively contact customers or 3rd parties to advise early of problems with meeting what has been agreed.
Ideally educated to A level standard or equivalent, you will demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of working in an operational or operational support environment. Our ideal candidate will have experience in one of the following areas - customer services, operational processes or scheduling.
You will ideally need proven customer service skills, excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills are essential to this fast paced role, along with strong prioritising and decision making skills. You will confidently show initiative working on your own or as part of a team, and be highly flexible and organised. You must be highly competent in IT and have good keyboard skills and able to accommodate a shift based working pattern with an average of 37 hours per week. Our operating hours are between 6.30am to 11.00pm Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays).
