Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Import Key Account Manager . The company are a well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.

The role will be predominantly Airfreight imports, however there will be roadfreight import/exports and courier shipments to manage. An understanding of time critical shipping is very important, as perishable and ship spares in transit shipments are a regular occurrence.

Candidates experience must include start to finish, airfreight imports.

Responsible for:-

  • Customs Clearance of airfreight shipments using CDS (Our operating system is Sequoia)
  • Road Freight exports/imports customs entries including raising T1 documents
  • Coordinating with handling agents at LHR to obtain release of cargo
  • Arrange collections from LHR and deliveries to clients, nationwide
  • Quoting clients
  • Administration including raising invoices, and passing suppliers invoices for payment
  • Strong understanding of quality customer service, as this is what our business is built on.
  • Troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail.

Will also include a commission scheme which is 10% of annual salary, if the business sales target is met/exceeded each year.

Working hours are 09.00-17.00, Monday to Friday. There may be the occasional need for out of hours work (from home).

Working hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700
