Import / Export Administrator - PT 20 hrs per week
My Client is an established FMCG manufacturer based near Taunton. They are an expanding and thriving business and as a result are now seeking a Part Time Import & Export Administrator to support their import and export process.
This is a Part Time role 20 hours per week (Mon – Fri 9am to 1pm) – The vacancy is a 5 month Temporary role from May to September
Salary £9,000 - 10,000 PRO RATA
The role will involve
·Support the end to end import /export shipping process.
·Support all relevant queries, including Invoices, Customs, damage in transit & stock discrepancies in a timely and manner.
·Maintain relationships with all relevant functions and providers.
·Administration of all relevant and associated documents from supplier/freight forwarder i.e. VAT/DUTY Invoices, Freight Invoices including those pertaining to Customs.
·Administration of shipment tracker.
·Communication to all relevant parties to ensure clarity of arrangements & delivery dates etc.
·Use of the correct duty codes specific to the products being shipped.
·Up keep of inbound booking process to ensure all containers have warehouse booking slots & transit arrangements to ensure zero demurrage at port
·At peak trading times, support the development of forecasts that are provided to suppliers to ensure container availability
·Key skills / Experience Required
- Fully conversant with Microsoft office (Especially Excel and Project).
- Supply chain understanding.
- Experience of management and business impact of relevant duty codes and tariffs.
Salary: £9,000 - £10,000 Pro Rata
20 Hours per week – Monday – Friday 9.00am – 13.00pm
