Import Customer Service Coordinator | Import Clerk | Import Freight Forwarder

Our client is a leading global forwarder managing the supply chain requirements for major retailers and brands that are now looking to recruit an Import Customer Service Coordinator to join their growing team in Southampton.
You will be responsible for managing the import Customs process of cargo into the UK for a select number of key accounts, ensuring that all cargo is entered into the system correctly & that Customs & Excise clear the cargo for removal from port to the warehouse / distribution centre and at the end of each month you will be responsible for collating all data & documentation and declaring to Customs, ensuring payment of all duties & VAT are made.
You will gain experience dealing with shipping documentation, customs compliance/procedures, monitoring shipments & arranging for final delivery.

About the Company:
Our client is a leading global freight forwarder that manages the supply chain & shipping requirements for household brands. Due to on-going expansion & new business, our client is currently looking to recruit an Import Customer Service Coordinator in there Southampton office to manage a number of key import accounts.
Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay between £20-23k for the right person, depending on experience. 25 days holiday, Pension, free car parking.
