Import Clerk | Export Clerk | Shipping Co-ordinator | Freight Forwarder

Do you have previous shipping experience, ideally import with a shipping line or a forwarder? Are you looking to join a global player in shipping beverage logistics, working with a number of high-profile retailers and manufacturers, providing end to end supply chain solutions?

The Role:

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for speaking to offices around the world, taking shipping instructions and booking cargo with shipping lines. Tracking shipments, updating clients will also be a key part of the role, along with ensuring Customs formalities are adhered to. You will manage shipping documentation, final deliver to RDC or destination. This a well rewarding role, providing a variety of solutions to shippers, importers & exporters.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous import or export forwarding / liner experience
  • Documentation, such as Bills of Lading & Commercial Invoices etc..
  • Good IT skills – Word & Excel
  • Commercially minded
  • Excellent communication

Desirable Criteria:

  • Customs clearance

Salary & Benefits:

For the right candidate our client is looking to pay around £22/23K depending on experience. But depending on the person / experience, there maybe some flexibility on this.
