My client is a well established freight forwarder who is seeking an Imports Customer Service Clerk to join their successful team.

Daily duties include:

  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key customers to develop more business opportunities
  • Ensuring all documents are received in order to process customs clearance
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes as required
  • Costing jobs
  • Tracking and monitoring shipments
  • Processing and following up rate quotations
  • Arranging shipments from USA
  • Working with USA agents and customers

You must:

  • Have proven experience within the freight forwarding industry
  • Have proven experience within a customer service role
  • Excellent telephone manner & PC skills
  • Proactive
  • USA trade is desirable

Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
