You will be responsible for the effective development of outsourcing services propositions, management of a portfolio of technology projects through a digital platform team and project manage the deployment of complex business services outsourcing propositions to Canon outsourcing customer's. Ideal for someone who has worked in a small software house, managing complex software projects for clients who is now seeking a larger role.

What We Give:
You'll have ownership of new customer project implementations, Process improvement projects of existing customers and new service delivery projects of existing customers and digital platform development prioritisation.

The role will require the project manager to work closely with a third party supplier and customer project management teams to effectively delivery complex multi faceted outsourcing propositions and programs.

Liaise with client stakeholders including executive sponsors and customer operations, engaging in consultative pre sales activities, outsourcing proposition development and functional specification development with regard to Canon outsourcing projects and digital platform development.

Work closely with Canon Business Information and Services (BIS) Operations as the owner of project implementation within the operational environment, paying particular attention to change management, process workflows, process documentation completion, resource planning, budget management, test planning and supplier management. You will be using your project management skills to Project Manager any implementations, which may require up to 6 month deployments on a single operations site, with responsibility for service start-up activities within a working operations environment.

Authoring of all project documentation including Canon and 3rd party technical and functional descriptions, process documentation, project documentation, stakeholder reporting and effective communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Work within the bounds of the company policies and governance models as defined by the Business Assurance Team.

The role will extend to the ownership of BIS Digital Platform projects focussed on inbound and outbound data processing, including writing functional descriptions, interfacing with customer software development teams, test specification writing, test planning with customer and BIS Operations, UAT orchestration, and all feeding into broader BIS programs. Direct responsibility for digital platform development work prioritisation, supporting digital platform team leader on a day to day basis in agile development, sprint planning and quality control.

What We Ask:
The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent spoken and written communication skills, with solid end to end project management experience of customer engagement and internal projects. Demonstrating experience of definition and implementation of complex project ideally within the business process outsourcing or digital services industry. Experience in delivering customer facing complex technical business transformation projects from inception through to live operations.
Software development management/coordination experience essential, along with high level of IT literacy and familiarity with customer communications applications and services. Examples would be knowledge of SQL DB, Mongo, C#, Websupergoo, Linux OS, Windows OS, VB, .net, Prisma, ISIS Design. Please indicate on your CV which experience you have.

Relevant project management experience within outsourcing and software development; end to end project management, customer facing with senior customer stakeholder engagement, complex time sensitive projects, software / application development.

Project management qualifications - minimum of Prince 2, ITIL, PMP or CAPM

Process Improvement and Lean optimisation Six Sigma certification beneficial. Business process outsourcing or communications management operations experience beneficial.

Awareness of business quality standards, including an understanding of at least one methodology e.g. ISO 9000

Salary - £51,163 - £54,006 + 10% Bonus
