About the role
You will manage a team of analysts & consultants, ensuring all projects are delivered to a high standard of quality and in accordance with the agreed project plans.
Effective line management of direct reports in accordance with Capita's "Managers Guide to Employment Practices"
The effective management and monitoring of resources to ensure that the team's tasks are allocated and completed efficiently within specified time scales and to the desired quality criteria.
Escalate resource issues to Implementation management and agree priorities.
Provision of support and assistance to the team on Implementation tasks.
Facilitate assistance, guidance and training to team members; encouraging continual professional development via regular review of performance, objectives and training requirements.
Attend Client project kick off meetings, weekly/monthly work stream meetings and act as the Implementation lead.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of any new business bids.
Risk and issue identification and mitigation.
Review and embed process changes for lessons learned.
Liaising with Implementation team members, Pension Management, Technical, IT
and Clients to determine solutions and resolve queries
About you/ Essential skills
Experience of line management is desired but seniors looking to progress will be considered for this role.
An understanding of a variety of pension scheme types and a good knowledge of HartLink and associated systems is highly desirable.
Experience of operational and system setup
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A sound working knowledge of Excel and Word
The ability to take responsibility for own work, effective time management skills and can work to tight deadlines under pressure.
Flexibility to travel to client meetings when required
