An opportunity has arisen for an exciting new Implementation Lead role in NHS Ayrshire and Arran TEC and Innovation Team as part of its involvement in the EU supported mPower cross-border project with partners in Scotland Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The mPower project seeks to help transform older people's services across partner organisations by empowering more people to self-manage their health and care issues in the community and alleviating pressures on primary care services. This will include the development of social prescribing services and harnessing the role of technology in potentially supporting care and wider wellbeing needs of older people in our community.

You will be tasked with coordinating the development and implementation of the mPower services and coordinating their operational day to day delivery. In particular the postholder will liaise with NHS Western Isles IT Dept. around the development and implementation of mPower eHealth services including home and mobile monitoring video enabled care and digital health and wellbeing services and apps. This will involve project management of implementation of mPower plans

For this role you will need good interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders suppliers project partners and service clients. Candidate should have degree level qualification or equivalent professional qualification in relevant area. Experience in a management role employing project and change management skills will be required. Candidate should be IT literate with particular knowledge and skills in use of technology in a service delivery context.

This post will be line managed within NHS Ayrshire and Arran TEC and Innovation via the Strategic lead/Head of TEC. In addition postholders will have accountability to the mPower Programme Management Office led by NHS 24 via regular meetings / reporting.

Car owner / driver is essential.

Hours of duty: 37.50 per week
