Implementation Consultant

£35,000 - £45,000

Cambridge

An Implementation Consultant is required by an ever expanding Internet of Things (IOT) software solutions company that are breaking new ground in the Cambridge area. My clients success has been based on their pioneering Cloud based software solution that is set to revolutionise various leading organisations across multiple sectors and as an Implementation Consultant you will play a pivotal part in delivering this to the market. In this unique and varied role you will be working closely alongside both the Sales and Service teams you will be able to offer a combination of technical and business acumen to successfully establish clients’ needs and being able to provide the best configuration to then satisfy those needs.

You will be tasked with providing intensive technical support by creating and participating in online demonstrations, conference calls and site visits to effectively market the business solution. Acting as the technical Trusted Advisor to prospective clients to successfully align both their business and technical needs with the appropriate solution will also be a vital part of your day to day role, alongside this you will be able to understand and translate complex customer business problems and be able to then offer a concise resolution.

Ultimately, this will be a hugely customer driven position so being able to demonstrate and innate ability at developing and managing relationships with customers will be essential, whilst experience with software system configuration and integration, delivering presentations and demonstrations either in person or over the phone and being able to create technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, SOW’s, RFPs and RFIs will also be key to any successful candidate moving forward. A familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and experience with Project Management would also be advantageous.

A key aspect of this role will be having the ability to travel as you will have to visit external sites regularly, with up to 60% of your working week at external sites. This extensive travel means that having a full UK driving licence is essential to any candidate. Even though the majority of travel will be UK based, some international travel may be required from time to time as the business dictates.

Here at Hurren and Hope we strive to be the black sheep of the industry with a focus on internal training within Behavioural science/Psychology not sales and a culture to match. We work with people not products so the prospect of selling them doesn’t sit well with us!
