My client is a well respected multi-service law firm with the Head Office based in South Manchester, a short distance outside of the City Centre and they are looking to recruit an additional Immigration Solicitor to assist with the expanding work-load that the firm undertakes with private immigration matters.
The role will involve handling a privately funded immigration case load, and in return the firm is offering a competitive salary as well as offering routes into more complex work and mentoring junior members of staff within the department.
You will be expected to actively manage and develop client relationships including the day to day contact with key clients and preparing a variety of business and personal immigration applications in addition to providing advice on complex UK immigration, appeals and litigation issues (JR) - optional and preferable
The successful candidate will work with clients on appeals to the Immigration Tribunal against decisions involving such matters as the Home Office refusing to grant a visa extension, permanent residency (indefinite leave to remain), or refusing to issue entry clearance to enter the UK or deporting an individual from the UK and detention matters.
