A great opportunity for an Immigration Paralegal to join a fast expanding and progressive team in Bedford. The successful Paralegal will handle a busy and complex caseload of immigration work with the opportunity to advise clients on private immigration matters with minimal supervision. Other duties may include dealing with correspondence; conducting client consultations; taking instructions and preparing cases; attending client meetings; maintaining billing and costing procedures; preparing appeal bundles and tribunal submissions; liaising with the Home Office, Tribunal and third parties; advising on Human Rights and Nationality applications; judicial reviews and; undertaking legal research. In addition, this role will incorporate active participation in the business development networking and marketing of the firm.
Immigration Paralegal with a minimum of 1-year experience within an immigration department;
Highly academic with excellent time management skills;
Personable with good communication on all levels;
Able to handle a diverse and varied caseload to meet key deadlines;
Keen to participate in the business development and networking of the firm;
Demonstrate the ability to work well within a team and on own initiative.
